Kayden X. Coleman (He/Him) is a transgender dad aka Papa Seahorse. He has 2 daughters, Azaelia and Jurnee. After is birth stories went viral – once in 2015 and again in 2020, Kayden Coleman became the face of black transgender pregnancy. He openly shares his stories navigating the health system and life as a black, gay transgender man via social media @kaydenxofficial. Celebrities such as, Ari Lennox and Laverne Cox, have voiced their support and featured Kayden on their social media and public platforms. In addition, Kayden has been featured in commercials by Lexus, and
Inspiring, uplifting, and educational. Kayden provides a laid back, story-like approach to sharing empowering stories of lived experience & the black gay transgender experience. He also teaches on other transgender and LGBQI issues. Moreover, Kayden has spoken at the Transgender panel in Washington D.C. and Old Dominion University to name a few public appearances. Kayden has taken his platform and dedicated himself to bridging the gaps and disparities that exist in the health system/birthing worlds for trans masculine individuals.
