Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Advocate, Educator, Parent

Cassidy is a clinical social worker whose focus is building a world where LGBTQIA+ people and the people who love them have access to exceptional, kind and affirming healthcare. In their private therapy practice, they work through a trauma informed, relationship centered lens helping adolescents and young adults who are navigating gender identity exploration, ADHD, autism, and more. They work with people to deepen understanding of their strengths, build resilience, and move through life confidently with joy and support.

In addition to their work providing therapy, they also have experience working in writing, training and education focused on LGBTQIA+ affirming healthcare, LGBTQIA+ youth suicide prevention, providing letters for gender affirming care, and creating gender affirming healthcare environments. They have worked in consultation with individuals all the way up to being a featured speaker at mental health and LGBTQIA+ related health conferences. Cassidy also spends time in community advocacy, including political advocacy work, their work as the Director of Community Outreach for the Transgender Community of New England, and other volunteer engagements.

They are a proud parent, and their work is motivated by a vision of building a world where their son and his peers will grow up in a world where they are safe and loved exactly as they are.
